Cognac and Conversation: Courvoisier Curates Culture at Cocody

Last night, Courvoisier brought its Bring Your Own Courvoisier (BYOCV) Dînatoire experience to Houston, transforming the upscale French eatery Cocody into a curated celebration of culture, creativity, and connection just in time for AfroTech.

Hosted by Houston’s own J Mulan, the evening embodied the rhythm of the city’s creative class — a mix of innovation, style, and soul. With DJ Brilliant on the decks and a special appearance from recording artist Peyton, the vibe was both elevated and unmistakably Houston.

Guests were immersed in Courvoisier’s world of craftsmanship and culture. Discovery Moodboards invited attendees to curate visuals inspired by Courvoisier’s iconic Expressions — VS, VSOP, and XO — connecting the brand’s French heritage to each guest’s personal style. Creative Convo Cards sparked meaningful exchanges, reminding everyone that real networking starts with real connection.

The one-night-only affair marked the third iteration of the BYOCV series, merging French sophistication with HBCU spirit and Houston warmth. The Dînatoire redefined the pre-game ritual into something deeper — a toast to artistry, intention, and the people shaping the culture.

In a city known for turning moments into movements, Courvoisier reminded guests that celebration is an art form.
