Rashad Robinson Brings ‘From Presence to Power’ Conversation With Kendrick Sampson to Houston

Houston is set to host a timely conversation on culture, power and change as author and nationally recognized social justice leader Rashad Robinson brings From Presence to Power to Kindred Storieson Friday, September 11.

Robinson will be joined in conversation by Houston native, actor and activist Kendrick Sampson for an evening centered around the ideas explored in Robinson’s new book, From Presence to Power.

The event comes to Houston as part of Robinson’s conversation series and will give attendees an opportunity to hear directly from Robinson and Sampson before a book signing following the discussion.

For Houston audiences, the stop brings together two voices whose work has extended beyond entertainment and media into broader conversations surrounding culture, representation and social change.

2LOUD Magazine will be on-site covering the Houston conversation, so look for more from us following the event.
