Why 2LOUD Is Going To Space

For nearly two decades, 2LOUD Magazine has told stories about culture, creativity, entrepreneurship, and the people pushing boundaries.

We've interviewed artists, athletes, business leaders, elected officials, and visionaries.

But lately we've been asking ourselves a question:

Who's telling the stories of the people building humanity's future?

Houston is known around the world as the home of Hip-Hop legends, championship sports, and cultural innovation.

It's also Space City.

Right here in our backyard, engineers are designing lunar landers. Scientists are preparing for missions to the Moon. Entrepreneurs are building companies that may one day help humans live beyond Earth.

Yet many of those stories never reach communities that would be inspired by them.

That's where 2LOUD comes in.

We're not becoming a science journal.

We're not abandoning culture.

We're expanding our definition of culture.

Because culture isn't only music and entertainment.

Culture is also innovation.

Culture is ambition.

Culture is daring to imagine something that doesn't exist yet and then building it.

The same spirit that inspires an artist to create a masterpiece inspires an engineer to build a spacecraft.

The same hustle that builds a successful business can build a company that reaches the Moon.

As 2LOUD launches its Space & Innovation initiative, our mission remains the same:

Tell stories that inspire.

Only now we're looking a little higher.

Maybe even beyond the stars.
