XANDi Pops Off: Houston’s Next Chart-Rising Star Is Owning the Mic and the Moment

Last night, in the heart of EaDo at The Spot Lounge & Bar, Houston's own XANDi hosted an intimate, electric listening session celebrating her newest album, Pop It — and she brought out a full house of fans and supporters on a rainy night.

From the contagious bounce of “Pop It” to the quirky, sleep anthem “ZZZ,” and the emotionally sharp “How Would I Know,” XANDi proved she’s not here to blend in — she’s here to define her lane. Each track felt intentional, polished, and rooted in storytelling.

When “Pretty Girl Flow” played — a track written with her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.,in mind the ladies of  pink and green let us know they were in the building .

Complimentary plates were passed, drinks flowed, and lyrics hit home — especially when XANDi took a moment to thank the crowd, noting that this album wasn’t just a moment for her — it was a message to every dreamer who’s ever been told to quiet down.

With her signature sound already described as "one-of-a-kind" and her authenticity ringing loud, XANDi isn’t just on the rise — she’s commanding the climb.
