Halle Berry Celebrates 60 in Cabo With Van Hunt

Halle Berry is officially 60—and she celebrated the milestone with longtime partner Van Hunt in Cabo San Lucas.

The couple escaped to Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, for a romantic getaway surrounded by the Baja desert and Sea of Cortez, trading Hollywood's spotlight for ocean views, privacy and plenty of time together.

The birthday retreat was equal parts luxury and experience.

Berry and Hunt enjoyed a private suite with its own pool overlooking the Sea of Cortez, spent time relaxing poolside and took part in a private winemaking experience where they created their own blend together.

Food was also part of the celebration. The couple dined at HUMO, Zadún's fire-driven restaurant, as well as Equis, the resort's beachside restaurant featuring coastal and Nikkei-inspired cuisine.

They also made time for a couples massage and hydrotherapy at Sensei at Zadún, before taking the celebration offshore for a private yacht experience along Cabo's coastline.

For Berry, the getaway wasn't about making a spectacle of turning 60. It was about slowing down, enjoying the moment and celebrating another milestone with someone close to her.

With Van Hunt by her side, ocean views in front of them and Cabo as the backdrop, Berry's birthday looked less like a Hollywood production and more like exactly what a milestone celebration should be:
